If you like your synth pop on the dark side and have penchant for bands like Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, New Order and Joy Division, Odeon Richmond is hosting an evening of new wave, synth-pop, post-punk and dark wave on Saturday 12^th July featuring Suburban Spell and Double Happiness.

Suburban Spell are grounded in 80’s synth pop that is mixed with brooding synth lines and an undercurrent of unease, a clear nod to the darker side of Melbourne’s suburban landscape.

Double Happiness are a highly regarded dark wave band with strong post punk edge and will bring a charged set of anthem driven songs to the evening.
