We are excited to celebrate our first birthday with you all!

MELB BLITZ DJs proudly honour the iconic Batcave in London's Soho (1982-1986), credited with kickstarting the goth movement.

The Batcave was established by Olli Wisdom and Jon Klein, both members of their house band, Specimen.  

Hugh Jones also assisted and Hamish MacDonald (Sex Beat) was resident DJ.

Music included new wave and glam rock:  Siouxsie and The Banshees, Marc Almond, Bauhaus, Foetus The Cure, Nick Cave, Alien Sex Fiend, Sex Gang Children were regulars.  ​​​It hosted live music, dark cabaret and showed arthouse films.
